TANSAM (Tamil Nadu Smart and Advanced Manufacturing) is a state-of-the-art Industry Centre of Excellence, powered by Siemens, a global leader in digital transformation solutions. TANSAM was inaugurated by the Tamil Nadu Honourable Chief Minister, Thiru. M.K. Stalin, on the 8th of November 2022 situated at Tidel Park, Chennai.
SIEMENS and TIDCO are setting up a center to bridge academia and industry, create jobs, and strengthen Tamil Nadu’s industrial ecosystem.
TANSAM with Siemens powers precision manufacturing through reverse engineering and 3D metal printing.

TANSAM Internship Program
TANSAM has been successfully conducting industry-oriented internship programs in a wide range of Industry 4.0 technologies, equipping students with practical skills that align with current and future industry requirements.
Students from engineering, arts, and science colleges across various districts of Tamil Nadu, as well as participants from other states in India and abroad, have actively taken part in these internship programs.
Throughout the internship, students receive hands-on training from experienced industry professionals. They work on mini projects, gain practical exposure to real-world applications, collaborate with fellow participants, and develop innovative solutions using modern tools and technologies. At the end of the program, students present their projects, demonstrating the knowledge and skills they have acquired during the internship.

Renault Nissan Automotive India Pvt Ltd (RNAIPL) had the privilege of collaborating with TANSAM to establish an Innovation Center at our plant that has become a thriving hub for testing and scaling employee-driven ideas. Students of Annai Vailankanni College of Engineering successfully completed their internship at TANSAM in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) and Full Stack Development, gaining hands-on experience with industry-relevant tools, technologies, and projects.
